A sanitation worker was tragically killed while disposing of waste at a municipal landfill when a neighboring dump truck overturned and crushed him. The incident occurred after the other truck dumped an uneven load of concrete while parked too close, causing the vehicle to tip over.
The victim’s family retained attorney Maurice Davis to investigate the incident and pursue accountability. Through litigation against the trucking company, its driver, and the landfill operator, he successfully secured a $1 million settlement on behalf of the victim’s estate and surviving family members.
